Details:

The PMIF Seminar covered PE investment issues – 20 year historical returns for the US CalPERs fund show Private Equity as the best performing asset class but also the most expensive one.

In the seminar we considered how pension funds and institutional investors of all sizes can best aim to access the benefits of private equity cost effectively and considered the importance of transparency. We discussed secondary markets and fund of funds and evaluated whether these sectors and other initiatives can help manage cash flow and risk management. We also covered some lesser used opportunities such as Emerging Markets Private Equity.
