Details:
In this the 30th Anniversary year of EPFIF, we reflected on key changes to pensions in the past 30 years and explored how investments, strategies, and the broader pensions industry have evolved and what may lie ahead.
What have we learned from past experiences?
Which asset classes and strategies have stood the test of time, and which have faded away?
The most recent decade has seen new terms like quantitative easing, risk transfer, ESG enter the pension industry investment lexicon. What will the future bring and what ideas will survive and thrive in the new decade?
We were delighted to welcome back our first-ever speakers from 1994, Roger Urwin and Alan Brown, amongst others, who shared their reflections on the past and did some future gazing, as is customary at this time of the year!
