Details:

We started the day with a special morning Keynote Presentation by Tuomas Välimäki, Member of the Board, Bank of Finland on Finnish Economy, Monetary Policy and the current situation in Europe.

The recent events in Russia/Ukraine have shown the very real tangible issue of geopolitical risks in Europe and at this Seminar we will discuss the medium and longer term implications for markets, policies and, more relevantly, the impact on your strategic asset allocation policy.

Our speakers covered:

  • The impact of the various political and geopolitical approaches across the Nordics to be more fiscally accommodating – regime shift in the talk from politicians
  • Digitalisation and climate – impact on debt including Finnish Government Debt
  • Geopolitical/Economic Outlook including inflation & interest rates as a result of this?
  • Implications for asset allocation
  • New Monetary Policy Regime – Very real implications for strategies, risk management and future returns
