How can we inform members on their retirement income expectations and what can schemes do to improve their overall outcomes? In a post Covid-19 world, what assumptions are schemes using in modellers for members and how realistic and helpful are they? Our speakers will aim to cover:

  • Modellers and assumptions used for projecting saving/retirement income for members
  • What is a sensible saving ratio to strive for members today? How do you have an open and frank discussion with members on this?
  • Some modellers are using assumptions such as House Ownership in retirement. Is this Realistic?
  • What is an appropriate contribution rate we should assume today in light of covid-19 and future investment returns?
  • What investment strategies should pension funds be considering?
  • Has Covid-19 has any effects on member behaviours and what does this mean for future saving & retirement income?
