By bringing together institutional investors with a limited number service providers, robust and objective discussions have become the norm across our division meetings. A key requirement for all non-institutional investor members and speakers is that product or services selling is not permitted. Our meetings are private and held under Chatham House Rules and the majority of attendees are institutional Investors. We strictly limit the number of service provider members to ensure we maintain this ratio. All our meetings allow for plenty of networking time over drinks and meals.
The Circle will hold three main meetings a year in London comprising of an afternoon seminar followed by drinks and networking. Institutional Investors will also be invited to three additional events – a Summer Party in June and an Open Forum & Reception in early December, open to all our UK pension fund members, and also our International Seminar in September which brings together our members from the UK, Europe and Southern Africa.
EPFIF’s first Division started in the UK in 1994 with a Forum for DB Pension Schemes. Since then, EPFIF has held over 900 meetings. The overall assets of pension fund members of the Forum amount to approximately €2000 billion. To be a member of an EPFIF Division has the feel of joining a private members club.
