Purpose
of Forum
The purpose of the UK Pension Fund Investment Forum is to improve
the quality of information available to pension fund managers leading
to the development of more relevant and efficient management, a better
understanding of investment processes and eventually, improved performance.
This is achieved by holding lectures, discussions, debates, and other

Timing and CPD
Meetings are held on last Thursday of each month starting at 12.00
noon for drinks and a buffet followed by a lecture, debate or discussion
with a prompt finish at 2.30pm. Additional meetings are held prior
to the Annual NAPF Conference (May), an International Seminar (September)
and an Open Forum at Christmas.
Normal monthly meetings, as well as the Open Forum, each earns 2.5 hours PMI Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) credit.

Venues
The regular monthly seminars are usually held in the City of London
at various Livery Halls including The Barber-Surgeons' Hall, Brewers
Hall and Ironmonger's Hall. |

Membership
Representatives of occupational and local authority pension fund are
entitled to become Category I Members. Members currently account for
over £270 billion of assets.
Other representatives of the pensions industry can apply to become
Category II members. |

Advisory
Committee
The Forum is advised by an Advisory Committee comprising only pension
fund representatives: Wendy Mayall (Chairman), Unilever
Superannuation Fund; Penny Green (Vice Chairman), SAUL Trustee Company; Geoff Reader, Bedfordshire Pension Fund; Andrew Chapman, John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust; Brian Kilpatrick, Marks & Spencer; Chris Hitchen, Railways Pension Trustee Co. Ltd and Gerry Degaute, Royal Mail Pensions Trustees. |

Executive
The Forum is run by an Executive, which consists of Trevor Cook and
Fred Jaffe (Directors). |
