Purpose
of Forum
The purpose of the Forum is to improve the quality of information
available to pension fund managers leading to the development of more
efficient management, improved scheme performance and a better understanding
of the systems and processes relating to Defined Contribution or Money
Purchase Pension Arrangements. This is achieved by holding lectures, discussions, debates

Timing and CPD
The Forum will hold six meetings each year, usually on the third Tuesday
of alternate months. Additional meetings include a special session
before the Annual NAPF Conference (May), an International Seminar in September and an Open Forum/Reception
at Christmas. The regular meetings will start
just before noon for drinks and a buffet followed by a lecture, debate
or discussion with a prompt finish at 2.30 pm.
Regular meetings each earn 2.75 hours PMI Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit while the Open
Forum earns 2.5 hours credit.

Venues
Meetings are usually held in the City of London at various Livery
Halls, including the Armourers' Hall, Barber Surgeons Hall and Brewers
Hall. |

Membership
Category 1 : Open to representatives of corporate and local authority
pension funds or the sponsoring employer of such pension funds. Although
no charge is currently made for membership, funds should aim to attend
half of all meetings held by the Forum. Other Categories : Open to
a limited number of other representatives from the pension investment
management and advisory industries. Membership is open to a limited
number of pension fund third party Administrators, Actuaries, Consultants,
Solicitors, Accountants, Independent Trustees, Investment Managers,
Financial Advisers including Property Advisers, Pooled Fund Operators,
Insurance Companies, Building Societies, Stockbrokers or Custodians.

Committee
The Forum is advised by an Advisory Committee comprising only pension
fund representatives:
