Purpose of Forum
The purpose of The European Pension Fund Investment Forum is to improve the quality of information available to pension fund managers leading to the development of more relevant and efficient management, a better understanding of investment processes and eventually, improved performance. This is achieved by holding lectures, discussions, debates and other activities. For Constitution & Rules, contact us.
Timing
Divisional meetings take place on the second Tuesday of February, April, June, October and December in Zeist, The Netherlands. Meetings are also held twice a year (May and November) at Elewijt, north of Brussels, Belgium. Additional meetings include an International Seminar in September. The regular Dutch meetings start at 3.30pm for coffee, lectures, debates and discussion followed by buffet and drinks to finish by 8.00pm. The meetings held in Belgium start at 09.30 and finish by 12.30 followed by a lunch until 14.00.

Venues
Meetings are usually held at Slot Zeist, near Utrecht and in similar locations in central Netherlands. The Belgium meetings are usually held at Kasteel Diependael Elewijt which is 20km north of Brussels.
  Membership
Category I: Open to representatives of European Pension Funds. Members include representatives of Belgian, British, Dutch, and German Pension Funds as well as multinational companies. Category IV: Open to any charity, foundation or other non-commercial organisation as well as any pension fund association, regulator or supervisory body. Other Categories: Open to a limited number of other representatives from the pensions and investment industry. Members include Investment Managers (active and quant), Property Advisers, Venture Capitalists, Insurance Companies, Solicitors, Stockbrokers, Custodian Banks, Actuaries, Consultants and Performance Measurement Services.

Advisory Committee
The Forum is advised by an Advisory Committee comprising only pension fund representatives: Gerlof de Vrij (Chairman), APG Asset Management; Rob Schippers, Stichting Pensioenfonds ARCADIS Nederland; Frank de Waardt, Stichting Heineken Pensioenfonds; Jeroen van der Put, Media Pensioen Diensten; Toine van der Stee, KLM Pension Fund; Bert Tibben, Stichting Nedlloyd Pensioenfonds; Jaap van Dam, Pensioenfonds PGGM Peter Eenshuistra, De Protestantse Kerk in Nederland Pension Fund; Willem Boeschoten, Shell Asset Management Company (SAMCo); Olivier Poswick, Suez-Tractebel Pension Fund and Patrick Groenendijk (Vice Chairman), Pensioenfonds Vervoer.
Executive
The Forum is run by an Executive, which consists of Trevor Cook and Fred Jaffe (Directors).
