The European Pension Fund Investment Forum
The Forum currently comprises eleven Divisions meeting regularly to discuss current relevant issues. Together, the Divisions of the Forum have held over 800 meetings. The overall assets of pension fund members of the Forum currently amount to well over €2000 billion.
Membership is by invitation and extended to eligible pension funds whose current assets amount to over 2 trillion euros and a limited number of highly regarded service provides whose membership fees help finance EPFIF. If you would like to be considered for an invitation, please click here.
The Pension Fund Investment Forum
Started in September 1994, and meeting monthly, has held over 265 meetings. It has 178 pension fund members with assets of approximately £650 billion and 34 members from other parts of the pensions and investment community.
The Money Purchase Pensions Forum
Started in September 1997, with meetings every other month, has held over 120 meetings. It has 166 pension fund members and 19 members from other parts of the pensions and investment community.
The Pension Trustees Circle
Started in July 1999, now with three meetings a year in January (Hertfordshire), July (Buckinghamshire) and September (Yorkshire). The PTC has now met over 40 times. It has 171 senior pension fund trustees with 21 representatives from other parts of the pensions and investment community.
Started in October 1995, with meetings every other month in the Netherlands and, from 1998, twice a year in Belgium, has held over 145 meetings. It has 145 pension fund members and 29 members from other parts of the pensions and investment community.
Started in April 2014 to cover a wide range of topics of interest to members of Dutch Pension Boards, meetings take place three times a year on the same days as the Dutch Benelux meetings and are held in Dutch.
The Irish Pension Fund Investment Forum
Started in October 2014, it has now held 5 meetings. Meetings are held in April and October in Dublin.
Started in November 1996, with five meetings a year in the regions’ main cities including Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm, has held over 100 meetings. It has 137 members drawn from pension funds, foundations and insurance companies and 19 members from other parts of the pensions and investment community.
The Southern Africa Pension Fund Investment Forum
Started in October 2006, has now held over 30 meetings in Sandton and Cape Town, South Africa and in Windhoek, Namibia. It holds three meetings a year in the region.
The Swiss International Division
Started in June 2002 and has held over 55 meetings. It holds four meetings a year in leading cities including Zurich and Bern.
The European Pension Fund Investment Forum International Seminar
In addition to the above, from September 1996 an International Seminar has been held annually in Europe with members invited from all over Europe (and more recently Africa). There have now been 21 meetings.
