In 1999 Dennis was appointed as an employer-nominated director of the Superannuation Arrangements of the University of London (SAUL) and in June 2002 succeeded Sir John Knill as Chairman of the SAUL Board. He was born and educated in Sydney, Australia and came to London in 1976 via St Catharine’s College, Cambridge where he was a resident Fellow from 1971 to 1976.
